The jiva or living being is endowed with ego and his knowledge is limited, whereas Ishwar is without ego and is omniscient.
Even as a mirror reflects an object held close to it, one’s behavior reflects as the ego-sense in one’s consciousness. But if held at a distance, ego-sense does not arise.
The mind exists in a state of “not enough” and so is always greedy for more. When you are identified with mind, you get bored and restless very easily. Boredom means the mind is hungry for more stimulus…it is not satisfied.
God’s purpose in creating the universe was to feel happiness when He saw the purpose of goodness fulfilled in the Heavenly Kingdom, which the whole of Creation, including man, could have established.
All anger is about something which has already happened. Is it of any use getting angry about something which you cannot alter?
