The joy of brightening other lives, bearing each others’ burdens, easing other’s loads and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts becomes for us the magic of Christmas.
Let us live happily, we who have no impediments. We shall subsist on joy even as the radiant gods.
Let us serve the world soulfully. The pay we will receive for our service will be in the currency of gratitude, God’s gratitude.
The modern habit of doing ceremonial things unceremoniously is no proof of humility; rather it proves the offender’s inability to forget himself in the rite, and his readiness to spoil for everyone else the proper pleasure of ritual.
Begin with yourself. There is no time to waste. It is your duty to do your part to bring God’s kingdom on earth.
