He who loves me is made pure; his heart melts in joy. He rises to transcendental consciousness by the rousing of his higher emotional nature. Tears of joy flow from his eyes, his hair stands on end, his heart melts in love. The bliss in that state is so intense that, forgetful of himself and his surroundings, he sometimes weeps profusely, or laughs, or sings, or dances; such a devotee is a purifying influence upon the whole universe.
Hark! Hark to the wind! Tis the night, they say, when all souls come back from the far away - The dead, forgotten this many a day!
Mother, father and teacher are best guides of a person; that person is really lucky whose parents are virtuous as they will always guide him to the right way and always think good for him.
The devotee engages to the best of his or her ability into the play of life, fulfilling his or her role on this earth as student, employee, husband, wife…But at the heart of the devotee is a burning desire for the Lord.
The sincere devotee loves God deeply whether he is non-active and silently meditating on God, or in the midst of a whirl of outer activities.
Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.
