Letting go of fear, attachment, grief and anger is the sannyasin’s renunciation. He savours only the taste of his oneness with the ultimate reality.
Ignorance is the failure to discriminate between permanent and impermanent, pure and impure, bliss and suffering, Self and non-Self.
A yogi who perceives his real Self as separate from his active senses and their objects never becomes attached to anything. He is aware of the dream nature of the universe and watches it without being entangled in its complex but ephemeral nature.
Mantra-exercise annuls the negative, the selfish, the sinful elements in us, and creates peace, bliss, well-being and success.
If you want to be incrementally better: Be competitive. If you want to be exponentially better: Be cooperative.
There’s harmony and inner peace to be found in following a moral compass that points in the same direction, regardless of fashion or trend.
