They are forever free who renounce all selfish desires and break away from the ego-cage of ‘I’, ‘me’, and ‘mine’ to be united with the Lord. Attain to this, and pass from death to immortality.
He who knows his soul knows this truth: “I am beyond everything finite; I now see that the Spirit, alone in a space with its ever-new joy, has expressed itself as the vast body of nature…I am the wisdom and power that sustain all creation.”
It is difficult to discuss the beginning of the Universe without mentioning the concept of God… It is quite possible that God acts in ways that cannot be described by scientific laws. But in that case one would just have to go by personal belief.
All religions exhort us to cleanse the heart of malice, greed, hate and anger. All religions hold out the gift of Grace as the prize for success in this cleaning process.
