Longing is like the rosy dawn. After the dawn, out comes the sun. Longing is followed by the vision of God.
Everyone has in him something divine, something his own, a chance of perfection and strength in however small a sphere which God offers him to take or refuse. The task is to find it, develop it and use it.
“Make your offering,” said the Master. “As you make it be pleased in mind. Make your mind completely calm and contented. Focus and fill the offering-mind with the giving. From this secure position you can be free from ill will.”
Parents’ lap and arms become hard and bony in the course of time, but what is there in their touch that cools the heart and soothes mental agony?
Nothing I say can explain to you divine love. Yet all of creation cannot seem to stop talking about it.
