The Guru believes in one God. They believe that all the gurus are the same as Nanak
God has no marks, colour, caste, and no ancestors, no form, complexion, outline, costume and is indescribable. He is fearless, luminous and measureless in might. He is the king of kings, the Lord of the prophets. He is the sovereign of the universe, gods, men and demons. The woods and dales sing the indescribable. O Lord, none can tell Thy names. The wise count your blessings to coin your names.
For what can be known about God is plain to all, because God is plain to all, because God has shown it to them. Ever since creation of the world His invisible nature, namely His eternal power has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made.
And if God had not repelled some men by others, the earth would have been corrupted.
Honour your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
