It is not that Buddha, Krishna, Jesus or Mohammed lacked anything in their compassion. If they could, they would have eliminated the "pains and miseries" of human life long back. But the problem is, in this case we have to help ourselves, no one else can.
The kind and quantum of what you possess is not the proof of your being rich... but yes, what and how much you still want to attain surely reveals how poor you are.
Many a times, our unessential understanding becomes the cause of our problem, yet we can't resist applying our brain in every trivial matter.
I would say harbouring negativities and even the acts driven by such emotions are not wrong but what is wrong is, because of them your life gets filled with sorrows and failures.
There are only two ways to reach the right decision; either you know everything about it or accept you know nothing... Know for sure, the earlier is just an illusion.
If a small community shows fanaticism, it is understandable. Their insecurity and inferiority can still be comprehended. But such a large Muslim community, not supporting open progressive thoughts is causing damage to itself.
The unsuccessful person falls for the ritualistic hypocrisies of religion. Such hypocrisies give birth to false hopes, and false hopes lead to performing wrong deeds. Wrong karma induces more sorrows; and more the miseries, more the person falls for religious hypocrisies. Such a sorry state of human beings is solely owed to being trapped in this vicious circle.
What is the definition of joy? When you get an opportunity to do what you really want to, the feeling that you experience then, is called "Joy".
The root cause of all miseries lie hidden in "Me and Mine". If it is my wealth, then the pain of losing it, if it is my body, then the affliction of sickness... Whereas in reality, there is nothing yours other than the feeling of your "Being".
Isn't it funny that we never look into the lives of the great people whom we worship, to dispel the miseries from our life and see, how much pain they have endured in their life. The truth is, we fail to understand one simple and basic fact that as long as there is life, there will be pain; no matter however great the person may be... Their greatness is not in having a life without hardship but because of their ability to remain cheerful even when surrounded by miseries.
The most wonderful and precious element of universe is the human life which can only be guided by the right knowledge and right attitude.
