“Make your offering,” said the Master. “As you make it be pleased in mind. Make your mind completely calm and contented. Focus and fill the offering-mind with the giving. From this secure position you can be free from ill will.”
Be mindful of your duty to God, and do good works; and again, be mindful of your duty, and believe; and once again: be mindful of your duty, and do right. God loves the doers of good.
Let your aims be common, and your hearts of one accord, and all of you be of one mind, so you may live well together.
Don’t let your mind bully your body into believing it must carry the burden of its worries.
Make haste in doing good; check your mind from evil; for the mind of him who is slow in doing meritorious actions delights in evil.
When you are inspired by some great purpose, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world.
Appreciate fully what you are eating, enjoy it fully, breathing and smelling the aroma to add to the taste, chewing slowly and well, to taste more and to digest better.
