When you travel towards your objective, be sure to pay attention to the path. The path teaches us the best way to arrive and enriches us while we are travelling along it.
We cannot hold a torch to light another’s path without brightening our own first.
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
The Eightfold Path: Right view, right aim, right speech, right action, right living, right effort, right mindfulness, right contemplation.
You cannot travel the path until you have become the path itself.
Truth, being limitless, unconditioned, unapproachable by any path whatsoever, cannot be organised; nor should any organisation be formed to lead or to coerce people along any particular path.
To have a body is to suffer. Those who understand this, detach themselves from all that exists and stop imagining or seeking anything. The sutras say, “To seek is to suffer. To seek nothing is bliss.” When you seek nothing, you’re on the Path.
